A Williams Lake sawmill devastated by a fire on 2017 is finally scheduling employees to return to work.
Tolko’s Lakeview Division sawmill in Williams Lake was forced to shut down operations by a November 2017 fire.
At the end of last year, the company said the rebuild was on target and they expected to be able to relaunch in February.
Now, the company is scheduling times for operators to educate themselves on and familiarize themselves with the equipment.
Safety is the primary focus for Tolko as they make their way towards a full re-opening of the mill.
