Those wishing to learn the history and language of the Heiltsuk Nation will have two new ways to do so beginning tomorrow.
Tomorrow marks the grand opening of a new Húyat exhibit at Simon Fraser University which features an audiovisual tribute to the 6 thousand year old village.
Accompanying the exhibit is the launch of a new website where visitors will be able to look in to the more than 14 thousand year history of the Heiltsuk Nation.
Through the site, you will be able to learn the Heiltsuk language, take digital tours of the landscape, and listen to Elders tell stories and teach the Nation’s culture.
