A lockdown at Kelly Road Secondary School in Prince George has led to the seizure of a weapon.
Police responded to the incident just after 8:50 this morning when the lockdown was issued at the school.
They discovered a weapon on scene and a youth was taken in to custody.
Following this, the lockdown was cancelled and operations returned to normal.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
