Travel advisory issued for Highway 37

Motorists may want to avoid travel today on some sections of northwest B.C. highways because of extremely slick conditions.

The transportation ministry has issued a travel advisory for Highway 37 between the junction with Highway 16 at Kitwanga and Bell II because of rain on compact snow.

Travelers are advised to use extreme caution and consider alternate plans.
