A collision in a Prince George parking lot from Wednesday has resulted in a 3 year-old being sent to hospital.
At around 11:00 Wednesday morning, a small SUV entered a strip-mall parking lot on Ospika Boulevard, and struck an infant.
According to police, the three year-old victim was standing next to their mother, who was tending to a smaller child at the time of the incident.
One tire of the SUV completely ran over the mid-section of the child, who was immediately transported to hospital upon the arrival of emergency crews.
Police say the toddler is expected to make a full recovery, and charges against the driver of the SUV are pending.
