With Greyhound’s time in western Canada running out fast, one company is aiming to fill at least some of the void.
Rider Express has announced that they will be taking over some of Greyhound’s routes ahead of the company’s departure at the end of the month.
Six, 55 passenger buses will begin making trips between Calgary and Vancouver, and Calgary and Winnipeg on October 29th.
The company has yet to finalize exactly where the buses will stop along their routes, but the announcement does offer hope for the rest of the west that a replacement is possible.
Rider hopes to keep its prices comparable to Greyhound’s, but says that some adjustments will need to be made as they figure things out.
