An outstanding arrest warrant led to the seizure of numerous guns and ammunition in Prince George on Thursday.
RCMP originally attended a residence on Poplar Place in an effort to locate a man with a warrant out for his arrest.
After investigating the property, police determined the man to be inside a trailer on the property.
With the assistance of the North District RCMP, police were able to convince the 30 year-old Prince George man and a 21 year-old female to surrender without incident.
After searching the trailer, RCMP discovered at least 7 guns, and a large amount of both sealed and loose ammunition.
Police also confirmed both the trailer and an ATV on the property had been stolen.
RCMP believe the firearms could be linked to a slew of recent firearm thefts in the area and are continuing to investigate.
The man is being held in custody on the outstanding warrant, while the woman was released and will appear in court in February.
