An area restriction has been put in place by the province for a section of Crown Land northwest of Vanderhoof.
The order covers all land in the area of the Tezzeron Lake Wildfire, roughly 106 kms northwest of Vanderhoof.
All travel to the area is restricted unless: you are travelling to a personal residence, travelling to an industrial area or business, entering the area in an official capacity under the wildfire act, or you have received written authorization of an official for the purposes of the wildfire act.
If none of those reasons apply to you, travelling through and stopping in the area is forbidden.
