One person is dead after a crash on Highway 97 near Taylor over the weekend.
North District RCMP says the head-on collision at the top of the South Taylor Hill happened shortly at 4:45 Sunday afternoon when a north-bound pickup crossed the centre line into the path of semi.
The 29 year-old Grande Prairie man at the wheel of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police suspect distracted driving may have played a role in the crash, although RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are still investigating.
