Just when Northwest residents thought they’d finished digging out, Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the region, including Stewart.
The weather office says a slow moving area of low pressure combined with cold air will bring snow to inland sections of the North Coast by Thursday night and continue through Friday night.
Accumulations of 25 to 30 cm are expected, but Stewart could see up to 40 cm by Friday night.
Forecasters say the snow could lead to reduced visibility and challenging driving conditions.
