For a seprate case the Dawson Creek RCMP are investigating of an assault with a weapon that occurred at a business in the 800 block of 105 Avenue in Dawson Creek.
On Monday June 29th at 3:43 pm police recived a report that a woman has allegedly been stabbed.
BC EHS attended the scene, the investigation had determined that the victim was assaulted with a weapon by two suspects.
The victim sustained minor injuries but was checked at the hospital before being released immediately.
Police are actively investigating the incident and are seeking witnesses.
Anyone who was in the block of 105th Avenue at the time of the assault, or who may have dash camera or surveillance footage, is asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
