Dawson Creek RCMP are investigating after a stabbing left one person injured on Monday June 29th.
Just before 11am Dawson Creek RCMP received a report that of an assault at a residence in the 9600 block of 15th Street.
Emergency Health Services had responded after receiving a report of a stabbing who was making there way to the hospital.
Police attended both the scene and the hospital when the officers located the victim at the property where the person sustained a stab wound to the lower torso.
A woman of suspect was later located and arrested in connection with the incident.
The victim received medical treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
RCMP say she remains in custody as the investigation continues.
