Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate a vandalism incident at Matthews Park. The damage occurred on October 6, 2025, and was reported to police the following day.
According to RCMP, the interior of the park’s bathroom was defaced with pink and black graffiti. Frontline officers conducted an investigation but were unable to identify any witnesses, and no surveillance footage of the incident was available.
Police are now appealing to the public for any additional information. Investigators are asking residents to check for potential surveillance or dashcam recordings from the area around the time of the incident. They are also seeking information about anyone who may have been in possession of — or using — pink or black spray paint shortly before or after the vandalism occurred.
