One person is dead in Prince George in the aftermath of what RCMP say was a vehicle collision with a residential home on Queesnway.
RCMP say they responded to the scene shortly after 2pm this past Saturday, when they had received reports that a single car had crashed into the front of a home.
On-scene, it was found that two individuals inside the home were un-injured, however the driver and passenger of the vehicle had both been hurt and were quickly transported to hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the driver did not survive.
The Prince George RCMP say their investigation into the matter has wrapped up, and the case is now in the hands of the BC Coroners Service. The RCMP notes they will not be releasing any further update. What caused the crash was not released, but no charges had been laid.
The detachment has offered their condolences to the family of the deceased
