Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a new wind warning for Haida Gwaii and the BC Central Coast as another ‘vigorous frontal system’ is approaching the Province.
The system is expected to reach the coast by noon tomorrow, Tuesday, October 28th, and forecasters say it’ll bring wind speeds of 90km/h with gusts up to 110km/h possible along exposed sections of the coast.
Authorities say loose objects may be picked up and tossed by the wind, and things like roof shingles and windows could be damaged as well.
