Planned LNG Flaring This Week

LNG Canada is advising Kitimat residents of planned flaring tied to the restart of LNG Train 1.

The activity is expected between September 24th and 25th, with flares lasting around 30 minutes at a time.

Flames could reach 20 to 60 metres, and residents may notice extra noise and visible emissions.
