The All Nations Lax Kxeen Society is hosting a series of free healing workshops throughout September to support those affected by Residential and Boarding Schools.
The workshops will take place every Tuesday, starting September 9, 2025, and are open to Survivors, their families, and community members impacted by intergenerational trauma.
The schedule includes a grounding and healing session on September 9th, a painting workshop on September 16th, and rattle making on September 23rd.
All workshops are being offered at no cost, thanks to support from sponsors. The events aim to create a safe, supportive space for healing, cultural connection, and community building.
The month will culminate with a community gathering on September 30, marking the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Organizers are encouraging those interested to save the dates and are still seeking volunteers and community partners to support the events.
For more information or to sign up, contact Sabrina Clifton at allnations_laxxkeen@outlook.com.
More details on workshop locations and times will be shared as they are finalized.
