The First Nations Leadership Council is set to hold a virtual All Chiefs Meeting on July 24, 2025, to address the toxic drug crisis impacting First Nations communities across British Columbia. The meeting will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom and will bring together chiefs, leaders, and policy analysts from key organizations, including the British Columbia Assembly of First Nations, the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs, and the First Nations Summit.
This important gathering aims to discuss and develop strategies to combat the drug poisoning crisis, which continues to affect the health and safety of many Indigenous people in the region. Participants will review policy initiatives and collaborate on community-based solutions to help reduce harm and promote healing.
