Prime Minister Mark Carney has unveiled the members of Canada’s new federal Cabinet, following a decisive election that handed his government a strong mandate to reshape the country’s economic and security relationship with the United States, grow the economy, tackle the cost of living, and enhance public safety.
Carney described the new Ministry as a focused team assembled to deliver change with “urgency and determination.” The government’s agenda emphasizes boosting investment, fostering higher-paying jobs, and strengthening Canada’s economic resilience.
The Prime Minister also pledged close collaboration with provinces, territories, and Indigenous Peoples to drive long-term nation-building investments.
“Canada’s new Ministry is built to deliver the change Canadians want and deserve. Everyone is expected and empowered to show leadership—to bring new ideas, a clear focus, and decisive action to their work,” said Carney.
