On Friday, April 25th, the ‘Ksan Society, in partnership with Homelessness Services Association of BC, will conduct the provincial Homeless Count, a vital survey aimed at understanding homelessness in Terrace. Volunteers will be surveying people who are unhoused or living in unstable housing, including those who are couch surfing, sleeping in vehicles, staying in shelters, or living outside. The survey will take place from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a magnet location at The Garage on Kalum Street from 12 PM to 3 PM, where participants can fill out the survey and enjoy a meal.
The survey is anonymous and voluntary. Your participation is essential to provide an accurate snapshot of homelessness in the community. Volunteers will also be walking through neighborhoods to conduct surveys.
