In response to the 1 Million March 4 Children, a group of Prince Rupert residents will be making their own demonstration tomorrow.
Happening nationwide, the march is meant to fight against sexual orientation and gender ideology curriculums in schools.
As well, the group is also against the use of pronouns, gender ideology, and mixed bathrooms.
Some Prince Rupert residents are now organizing a peaceful counter-protest supporting the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Organizers say there is no room for hate in the place nicknamed the City of Rainbows.
The march will be led with a school walkout at 9 a.m., which is when the counter-protest will begin at City Hall.
