River levels are on the rise across the province, though flood risks in the Northwest remain relatively low, according to the River Forecast Centre.
A high streamflow advisory remains in place for the Bulkley Valley and its tributaries near Terrace, Smithers, Telkwa, Kispiox, and the Hazeltons.
High streamflow advisories are also in place for the Nechako and Peace Regions, and areas around the Quesnel, Chilako, Chuchinka, and Salmon Rivers in the Interior.
Meanwhile, a flood watch is covering areas around the Cottonwood and San Jose Rivers, and Baker Creek, near Quesnel and Williams Lake, as well as the Nazko and West Road Rivers.
Flows in the Bulkley and Skeena Rivers are slightly above average for now, but forecasts have them steadily increasing through the week.
