Fort St John RCMP are requesting public assistance to help locate a prolific property offender.
40 year-old Matthew Edmund Duffy is wanted on counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, theft under $5,000, and break and enter.
He is also wanted on 6 separate counts of breaching of a release order, in addition to other charges.
Duffy is described as a 5 foot 10 inch Caucasian man, weighing 212 pounds, with brown hair, and green eyes, with a tattoo of a rose on his right hand, and of brass knuckles on his left.
Police say he is known to frequent pretty much everywhere in Northeast BC, as well as multiple Alberta communities.
