With snow in the forecast for Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert over the next couple of days, the municipalities have few reminders.
To ensure proper snow removal, there is no parking on the road in Terrace from November 15 to April first.
For people in Strawberry Meadows and Cable Car in Kitimat, the district is reminding residents to not remove snow from their property and put it onto roadsides or into ditches to avoid traffic hazards.
Prince Rupert also reminds residents that their snow should be moved into yards instead of roadways and to keep roadways clear to ensure proper snow removal.
If you have a neighbour that is unable to remove snow from their driveway, the municipalities ask residents to lend a helping hand.
