The Prince George RCMP say they’ve made an arrest in connect with an incident last Thursday where an object had been thrown at an ambluance, injuring the two paramedics inside.
The incident took place around 4:00 p.m on April 2nd near the 6000-block of First Avenue, with RCMP investigators saying it appears the man arrested had hurled an object through the window of the ambulance as it passed by.
Both paramedics sustained injuries and were treated in hospital.
The identity of the man arrested has not been shared by the RCMP, but he has been released on an undertaking with a future court date. RCMP say the investigation remains ongoing.
Prince George RCMP Media Relations officer Corporal Jennifer Cooper noted that tips from the public were instrumental in making the arrest and she had thanked those who came forward with information on behalf of the RCMP.
