A Snowfall warning has just been issued for Kitimat, with Environment Canada meteorologists forecasting upwards of 10 to 15 centimeters of heavy snow throughout this evening.
An approaching cold front from the Pacific has made for quickly changing travel conditions along Highway 37 between Terrace and Kitimat with the possibility of blowing snow significantly reducing local visibility at times.
The heaviest snow is expected this evening and should taper off to flurries by tomorrow morning, Friday, March 27th.
