Earthquakes Canada has confirmed a 4.3 magnitude earthquake had struck off the southwest coast of Haida Gwaii’s Moresby Island just before 6:30am this morning, Tuesday, March 25th.
It’s epicenter was offshore about 25 kilometers below the surface, and took place about 93 kilometers south-southeast of Daajing Giids as the crow flies
No damage has been reported, or is expected, and there is no Tsunami risk associated with the quake. Earthquakes Canada also confirmed they have not received any reports indicating the quake was felt on-shore
