The BC River Forecast Centre has ended the flood watch for the North Coast, as well as the High streamflow Advisory that had been issued for the Central Coast, with the Centre confirming between 50 to 155 mm of rain had fallen since Tuesday, combined with about 2 to 4 centimeters of snow melt across the North Coast.
The Centre says rivers have now peaked and are starting to recede, with gauges showing flows at around the 2-year to above a 5-year mark, with no further rises in river levels are expected, and water levels having dropped below levels of concern.
