Kitwanga Elementary School will be closed today due to a prolonged power outage, thats according to Lindsay Harder, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent & Board of Education with Coast Mountain School District 82.
BC Hydro has told the School District that power will likely not be restored until 4:00 pm, meaning Kitwanga Elementary School will be closed for the remainder of the day today, Wedneday December 17th.
