A falling tree had knocked down powerlines across Centennial Drive this morning, Monday, December 15th, blocking Centennial Drive just before the intersection with Cranberry Lane and leaving around 32 properties on the Terrace bench without power.
BC Hydro crews reported being aware of the outage shortly after 5:00am, with technicians now on-site working to restore power and clear the road.

Traffic was also delayed for over an hour on the Nisga’a Highway this morning as a falling tree has also knocked powerlines down across Highway 113 near the intersection with Douglass Road sometime before 5:00am.
Highway 113 is now confirmed to be clear and passable to traffic, but travel advisories for pooling water and slushing conditions remain in effect, as well as for most highways and sideroads across the Northwest.
