Northern Health is warning residents of Fort St John and Northeast BC that exposure to the measles virus may have been possible on four separate occasions in Fort St. John between November 24th and 28th.
Exposure may have been possible within the Enterprise Car Rentals location on 89th Ave on Monday November 24th, between 8am and 7pm.
Exposure to the measles virus may also have been possible within the Fort St. John Hospital Emergency Department on November 26th from 11am to 2:30pm, and again the following two days on November 27th and 28th from 11:45 p.m. to 3:15 a.m.
The Health Authority has asked those who may have been exposed to self monitor for symptoms of measles over the coming days.
