The Quesnel RCMP are hosting their annual Stuff A Cruiser campaign this holiday season to support families in need across the community. The event will take place on December 6 and 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Walmart parking lot on 890 Rita Road. Members of the RCMP will be collecting donations to fill a police cruiser with items that will be distributed to local food banks, seniors in need, and the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program in Quesnel.
Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food, unopened toys for children, winter clothing, and hygiene products. The initiative has become a well-loved tradition, with local generosity helping ensure families have the support they need during the holiday season.
For those unable to attend the weekend event, donations can also be dropped off ahead of time at the Quesnel RCMP Detachment, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The RCMP hope that once again, the people of Quesnel will come together to “stuff the cruiser” and bring joy to those facing challenges this Christmas. Past campaigns have been highly successful thanks to community participation, and organizers are optimistic this year will be no different.
