Terrace RCMP have made two arrests in connection with multiple break-and-enter incidents across the city. The first incident occurred on October 14, 2025, when police received a report that two rifles—a .308 Savage and a .22 Savage—along with ammunition, had been stolen.
On November 7, RCMP responded to a report of two men acting suspiciously on the 4700 Block of Davis Avenue, loading items into a shopping cart. Officers found a pile of tools on the street, and one man was located nearby in possession of numerous tools and equipment suspected to be stolen. A nearby construction site trailer had also been broken into, and the man was arrested and held for investigation. Stolen property from this incident was later returned to its owner.
Later in November, police obtained and executed a search warrant at an address on the 4900 Block of Walsh Avenue. This search led to the seizure of a .22 Savage rifle, ammunition, bins of power tools, and assorted controlled substances. A second man was arrested for possession of stolen property.
Investigations are ongoing, and Terrace RCMP will submit their findings to BC Prosecution Services for consideration of charges. Authorities continue to encourage residents to remain vigilant, secure their property, and report any suspicious activity.
