Quesnel RCMP are searching for a suspect following a stabbing that left a 34-year-old man in critical condition. The incident occurred on November 10, 2025, in the 600 block of Front Street.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 6:11 p.m. after reports that a man had been stabbed during an altercation. The victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. RCMP have confirmed that the assault was not random; the victim and suspect were known to each other.
Investigators are now attempting to locate a 42-year-old man believed to be responsible. Police have not released his name but say efforts to find him are ongoing.
Sgt. Clay Kronebusch says anyone with information that could help the investigation is urged to contact the Quesnel RCMP detachment.
