The City of Terrace is preparing to celebrate a major milestone: its 100th anniversary on December 29, 2027. To ensure the centennial year is filled with memorable events and meaningful celebrations, the city is establishing a Centennial Advisory Committee and seeking community members to participate.
The committee will play a vital role in helping plan and organize centennial events, providing input on activities, and engaging the broader community to ensure the celebration reflects the city’s rich history and diverse population. Residents with a passion for community involvement, event planning, or local history are especially encouraged to apply.
Applications are now open and will be accepted until Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. Interested applicants can submit their applications online through the city’s website at terrace.ca/committees or by emailing City Hall at cityhall@terrace.ca.
This is a unique opportunity for Terrace residents to be directly involved in shaping the city’s centennial celebrations and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
