The Fraser Lake RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Wilma Friesen, an 82-year-old woman reported missing on Monday, October 27. Wilma was last seen by her family earlier that day, and police confirmed she visited a friend in Fraser Lake in the afternoon. She told her friend she planned to get groceries and then return home but never arrived.
Wilma is believed to be driving a silver 2020 Ford Edge, British Columbia license plate XL136F. She was scheduled for a medical appointment in Prince George the following day, but her family does not believe she would have traveled there alone, as a ride service was arranged.
Authorities and family members are extremely concerned for Wilma’s wellbeing. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Fraser Lake RCMP at 250-699-7777. If you see her, it is recommended to stay with her until police arrive.
