The Smithers and Houston RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Daniel Piel, a 24-year-old man from Telkwa, B.C., who is currently wanted on an outstanding unendorsed warrant.
Piel faces multiple charges, including improper storage of a firearm, unlawfully discharging a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
RCMP believe Piel is still in the Smithers area and are actively working to locate him.
He is described as a Caucasian male, 24 years old, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall (178 cm), and weighing approximately 150 pounds (68 kg). He has blonde hair and green eyes.
Due to the nature of the charges, police are urging the public not to approach him if spotted. Instead, anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Smithers RCMP detachment at 250-847-3233.
