Heritage Park Museum in Terrace invites the community to its annual Haunted Cabins event on October 30th and 31st. Visitors will be transported to Cedar Hollow, a terrifying 1930s village where a young girl has mysteriously disappeared. Guests brave enough to explore four haunted cabins might uncover clues to her fate. The experience runs nightly from 8 to 9:30 p.m., with the final entry at 9:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Misty River Books, with a limited number available at the door. Note that tickets are date-specific and non-transferable.
For those seeking family fun, the museum will also host its October Festival and trick-or-treating on October 31st from 3 to 6 p.m. This celebration highlights fall traditions from Halloween to Diwali and Día de Muertos, featuring decorated cabins, crafts, games, a donation-based photo booth, and hot drinks for sale. Entry is free or by donation, and participants are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bags and dress in costumes.
Attendees should be aware that the Haunted Cabins event contains dark areas, sudden noises, flashing lights, and jump scares, and is not recommended for children under 13 or individuals with certain medical conditions. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
