A rockslide had struck Highway 16 about 10 kilometers west of Terrace this morning, Tuesday, October 7th. Crews on-site say it happened shortly before 5:00am.
The slide took place in the East Amsbury area, scattering debris across the road and reducing Highway 16 to a single lane of alternating traffic at the slide area. There were no reports of any injuries.
