Fort St. John RCMP has disrupted a drug trafficking operation, leading to arrests and a significant drug seizure. On July 31, 2025, RCMP’s Street Enforcement Team (SET) executed a search warrant at a residence on 103 Avenue in Fort St. John. The investigation followed the earlier arrest of two individuals suspected of selling drugs in the community.
Inside the home, police uncovered a tablet manufacturing operation. They seized large amounts of illicit drugs, two firearms, pill presses, and precursor chemicals used in the production of illegal substances. Some of the tablets found were pressed to resemble legitimate pharmaceutical drugs, raising concerns about public safety.
The two men arrested, aged 42 and 49, were released from custody while the Public Prosecution Service of Canada reviews potential charges. RCMP are emphasizing the importance of community involvement and encouraging the public to report any suspected drug trafficking activities.
This operation marks a significant disruption in the illicit drug trade in Fort St. John and reflects ongoing efforts by RCMP to keep the community safe from drug-related crime.
