The search for 46-year-old Thomas Kelly, who went missing while fishing near Usk, BC, continues with no new updates. Thomas was last seen on Saturday, July 12, at around 6:45 PM when he was fishing with family members along the river. The family lost sight of him after he spent several minutes in the water. Authorities were contacted immediately, and Search and Rescue teams from both Terrace and Kitimat were deployed. They have conducted extensive searches by foot, boat, and helicopter, but have yet to locate him.
Thomas is described as an Indigenous male, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a light blue sweater and grey sweatpants. The RCMP are asking the public for assistance and urging anyone with information to contact the Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400.
