Haisla Nation Heads to the Polls for Chief and Council Election on Monday July 11th

The Haisla Nation is heading to the polls on Monday to elect one Chief Councillor and five Councillors.

In-person voting will take place at the Haisla Recreation Centre from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Running for Chief Councillor are Maureen Nyce and Paul Windsor.

The candidates for Councillor are Lisa Grant, Deanna Gray, Paul Gray, Kimberly Robinson, Joanne Ross, and Wade Smith.

Online voting through OneFeather is also open and will close Monday at 8 p.m.

Those elected will serve a four-year term.
