Police in Fort St John are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman who may still be in the area. Twenty-five-year-old Emma Anne Kango-McCabe was reported missing by Ontario Provincial Police. On June 24, they asked Fort St John RCMP to assist in confirming her wellbeing after she was believed to have visited a local business back on June 12.
On June 23, Emma’s vehicle was located in Fort St John. She was driving a red 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage, a four-door hatchback with Ontario license plate CWCN 226. The discovery of her car suggests she could still be in the city.
RCMP had described Emma as a non-Caucasian woman, five feet five inches tall, with black hair —possibly shorter and dyed green—dark eyes, and a septum nose piercing.
Both RCMP and Ontario police say they are very concerned for her safety.
RCMP say Kango-McCabe has since be located safe.
