Filming is officially underway in Kitimat today as a production crew begins capturing scenes for the Kitimat Bound promotional campaign. The crew will be active in the area through to July 4, working alongside the District of Kitimat and the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce to showcase the community, lifestyle, and stunning local landscape.
Residents can expect to see film crews and equipment in public areas, including the use of drones to collect aerial footage. The team is working to keep disruptions to a minimum and is asking the public to be aware and respectful of filming in progress.
Kitimat Bound is designed to highlight the region as an attractive place to live, work, and visit. The footage gathered will be used to promote Kitimat through various digital and marketing channels.
