A shooting incident early on May 11, 2025, has Fort St. John RCMP investigating what they believe to be a targeted attack. At approximately 1:40 A.M., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 11000 block of 92nd Street. Police discovered a vehicle at a residence with bullet holes but confirmed that no one was injured. The residence, which is known to police, appears to have been the target of the attack. Officers thoroughly searched the area but found no further injuries or damage. Thankfully, there is no ongoing threat to public safety. RCMP are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with information or dash cam footage from the area between 1:00 and 2:00 A.M. to come forward.
