A 39-year-old woman from Fort St. John is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop on December 13. A BC Highway Patrol officer pulled her over for an impaired driving check late in the evening. While the woman provided her driver’s license, she couldn’t remember her name when asked by the officer, leading to her arrest. During a search of her vehicle, police discovered a loaded ghost gun, pepper spray, nearly $2,000 in cash, and suspected drugs. Although the woman was not impaired, she was taken into custody and later released. Her name will not be made public until charges are reviewed by the Crown.
