A traffic stop in Terrace early on October 19 led to multiple arrests after a white pickup truck was seen driving without tail lights and exhibiting erratic behavior. The female driver showed signs of impairment, prompting a detention for a drug-related investigation. A search of the vehicle uncovered suspected fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and a variety of weapons, including throwing axes, swords, bear spray, and ammunition. All three occupants—two men and the driver—were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The driver, who was also impaired by drugs, was issued a 24-hour driving prohibition and several violation tickets, including for driving without a license. The vehicle was towed. Two passengers chose to leave the scene on foot, while the third, intoxicated, was taken to Terrace RCMP cells until sober. The seized weapons and drugs were disposed of by police.
