The Peace Region is now facing just two wildfires of note, and significantly fewer evacuation alerts and orders.
Now sitting at nearly 136,000 hectares, the Donnie Creek fire in the Tommy Lakes area is prompting one evacuation alert and remains the largest in the province.
While the Stoddart Creek fire continues to burn at almost 30,000 hectares, the Red Creek fire is now listed as being held.
Alerts for those fires remain in effect for Cache Creek east to Montney Creek and from Charlie Lake north to Prespatou.
But evacuation orders issued by the Blueberry River First Nation concerning those burns remain in place.
Meanwhile, the 26,000 hectare Klua Lakes fire is prompting evacuation orders and alerts east of Prophet River.
