A pair of open houses are planned for the Northwest this week as the Ksi Lisims LNG project enters its public comment period.
Planned for Pearse Island, west of Gingolx, the floating facility is expected to produce 12 million tonnes of LNG annually over its 40 year life span.
Proposed by the Nisga’a Nation and partners Western LNG and Rockies LNG, the project entered the environmental assessment process in March.
Members of the public now have until May 30th to provide their input on how that process will be conducted.
