For the third time this month, the City of Williams Lake has opted to remove a homeless encampment in the community.
Work to remove the Herb Gardner Park camp, across from City Hall, is set to begin this afternoon.
City staff say neighbours have reported spotting drug and alcohol use, public nudity, and more at the park since tents arrived.
In addition, the City’s bylaws do not allow for camping in City-owned parks.
That camp was removed earlier this month, alongside another camp at Boitanio Park.
